Messrs. Ackerman and Sands provide services in the area of U.S. Supreme Court advocacy, appellate advocacy, writ proceedings, administrative hearings, and other forms of judicial and regulatory review proceedings.  Mr. Sands has briefed a number of issues and Rich Ackerman has argued and/or briefed dozens of appellate matters before the Superior Court Appellate Division, administrative bodies, California Court of Appeal, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal, California Supreme Court and the United States Supreme Court.  All told, Mr. Ackerman has been involved in approximately 100 administrative and civil appeal matters.
