First Amendment Issues
Our office has represented litigants and friends of the court in a variety of First Amendment arenas.  We have represented media, churches, protesters, and everyday citizens in the exercise of First Amendment rights.  We offer zoning regulation assistance to churches, First Amendment defense of media, protesters and churches, prosecution of unfair business advertising & practice cases, and a variety of other services designed to protect the most important of your rights.  Our attorneys have appeared before local courts (California, Tennessee), the United States District Courts (Texas, California), the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal, the California Court of Appeal, the California Supreme Court and a variety of administrative tribunals.  Mr. Ackerman has also appeared on behalf of clients before the United States Senate Press Gallery and United States Senate Rules Committee in Washington, DC.  Our attorneys have also briefed many matters before the United States Supreme Court on behalf of individuals, elected officials, and state/national organizations.
